In comparison with the control group, there was no significant upsurge in main disability among survivors in the hypothermia group; the prices of moderate or severe cerebral palsy were 30 percent in the control group versus 19 percent in the hypothermia group, with corresponding prices of blindness of 14 percent versus 7 percent and hearing impairment of 6 percent versus 4 percent. There is always a risk involved with using experimental drugs and treatments, they could have unknown unwanted effects that will only show up when they are used by human beings. 4 – General state of wellness of the patient A patient’s general health is also a major consideration when preparing to participate in a scientific trial. Patients with various other pre-existing medical disease will not be allowed to take part in most scientific trials in addition to patients on other major medications.
